# Proxies

> How a proxy exit decides what a site thinks of an AI agent's browser: address class, reputation, the exit's TCP stack and the timezone and language behind it.

A site judges where a request comes from before it judges the browser, and no setting inside the browser reaches that part. The articles here take the exit apart: the class and reputation of the address, the TCP stack of the device at the far end, and the clock and language that have to agree with it. Each one reports what we measured through real exits, with the date and the number of runs.

How Scalebrowser checks an exit and holds each address for one profile is in the [proxies documentation](/docs/proxies).
